How you can help us

For nearly a century, we’ve been helping Dorset people with visual difficulties live full, active and happy lives. We’re proud to now help more than 1,000 people every month.

We are only able to do the fantastic work we do thanks to the help of people like you!

We don’t receive any funding from the government or the RNIB – instead we rely 100% on fundraising and donations. Would you like to help?

There loads of different ways you can volunteer, from driving to supervising at one of our events.

How to Donate

We have to raise £385,000 every year in order to keep helping Dorset’s visually-impaired people. Here’s how you can help.

Partner with us

There’s loads we can do to help your business or educational establishment be more aware and accessible to people with sight loss.

Leave a Legacy

A legacy donation is a charitable contribution left to us in somebody’s will, and they are our single most important source of funding.

Charity Shops

The opening of our first charity shop in 2017 marked a new dimension to both the work and the fundraising of Dorset Blind Association.

Centenary Champions Appeal

To celebrate our centenary, we’re inviting you to become a Centenary Champion!
