DBA

Hi, I’m Jackie, the newly appointed Assistant Manager at the DBA in Southbourne. 

I’m thrilled to join this worthy cause, helping blind and partially sighted people in Dorset change their lives.

I have worked in childcare for the last twenty years. I loved my job, and spending time with the children was an absolute pleasure, but I felt I needed a change and wanted to try something new. 

I joined a National Charity and worked in their retail sector for three years in a management role.

I have lived in Southbourne for the last fifty years, so when the job came up, it seemed perfect for me. 

I have really enjoyed meeting the fantastic team at Southbourne; everyone has been so welcoming. I’m looking forward to supporting the shop in the best way possible.
